This means that only 10% of the offerers, answered correctly more of 50% of the questions, while 90% of them, do not reach to answer nor half of the questions well that compose the tests 17. On the other hand we also have the results of tests based on the international curriculum that carry out the countries of the region, as well as tests that they allow to compare the levels of reading performance of the young people, such as the tests developed by the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean of UNESCO (the Latin American laboratory for the Evaluation of the Quality of the Education), developed by the Association the International for the Evaluation of Desempeo Escolar (IEA) or developed by the Organization for the Cooperation and the Economic Development (the OECD).
